STUDENT ID CARD
Special Fare ID Card (PASO)
Since the 2011-12 academic year, undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral students at all universities and Technological Educational Institutes (TEIs) in the country have been able to submit online applications for the issuance of the new academic ID card.
The new ID card is designed to remain valid for the entire duration of the holder's student status and serves multiple purposes beyond just the student fare entitlement (PASO). The new cards display the exact validity period of the student fare entitlement. If a student is not eligible for the student fare, the card serves simply as a standard identification card. Students collect their ID cards from the pickup location specified in their online application.
The Academic ID Card Issuance Service is provided by the Ministry of Education, Research and Religious Affairs, with technical support from the National Research and Technology Network (GRNET). Further details – submitting the online application: Online Student Card Issuance Service
